Abstract

An examination of 3.6×

10^{10}

μ^{+}

decays yields an improved upper limit for the branching ratio

\frac{Γ (μ^{+} \to e^{+} γ)}{Γ (μ^{+} \to e^{+} ν_{e} {\bar{ν}}_{μ})} < 1.9 \times 10^{- 10}

with 90% confidence.
