Momentum Distribution in the Decay B-->J/psi+X

Abstract
We combine the NRQCD formalism for the inclusive color singlet and octet production of charmonium states with the parton and the ACCMM model, respectively, in order to include bound state corrections, and calculate the J/psi momentum distribution in the decay B-->J/\psi+X. A comparison of our results with recent data from CLEO restricts the range for the parameters of the heavy quark distribution function; epsilon_p (in the parton model) and the Fermi momentum p_F (in the ACCMM model). In particular we arrive at epsilon_p=O(0.010-0.012) and p_F=O(0.57 GeV), respectively. The latter value (p_F\sim 0.5-0.6 GeV), when applied to the semileptonic B decays, produces (in the ACCMM model) |V_ub/V_cb|\simeq 0.107\pm 0.011.
