Abstract
Infection with the hepatitis B virus (HBV) has been a serious problem for residents of institutions for the developmentally handicapped.1 The recently discovered2 hepatitis C virus (HCV) has similar risk factors, but the prevalence of infection with HCV in such institutions has not been reported.Keywords
