Abstract
The catalytic effect of Lewis acids on the formation of carboxamides from benzoic acid and primary or secondary amines was studied under different conditions. The results show that the catalyst to be preferred depends on the nature of the amine. The best results were obtained with different catalysts for primary and secondary amines. Directions for preparative runs are given. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
