Abstract
The relationship between menarcheal age and estimated dietary fiber intake in 46 countries/communities was examined. There was a highly significant positive correlation (r = 0.84) between dietary fiber (g/1000 kcal nutrient energy) and menarcheal age. The nutritional and physiological significance of this relationships is discussed. This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
