Abstract
In 63 diabetic children, 10-14 yr old, with normal ophthalmoscopy, fluorescein angiography revealed slight diabetic retinopathy in 3 of them, 12-14 yr old. Other controversial fluorescein angiographic studies on diabetic children are discussed. Normal ophthalmoscopy apparently does not exclude the presence of diabetic retinopathy. Fluorescein angiography is a valuable method in the early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy. Keywords
