Abstract
Four patients with Hodgkin''s disease developed osteonecrosis following mustine, vinblastine, procarbazine and prednisone therapy and radiotherapy and both femoral heads were involved in each case. Retrospective review of abdominal radiographs taken for follow-up lymphography demonstrated that the earliest radiological changes in bone were evident between 5 and 18 mo. after treatment was started and between 6 and 21 mo. before the onset of symptoms. The clinical implications are discussed. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
