Abstract
Proximal subclavian ulcerative athero matous lesion can present as vertebrobasillar TIA from atherothromboembolic phenom ena. Because it lacks hemodynamic signifi cance, prosthetic graft bypass may undergo thrombosis. Endarterectomy and trans position of the subclavian artery, which has had good results, is the procedure of choice in such cases. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
