Abstract
Despite worldwide appearance of Yersinia enterocolitica infections, very little is known about the possible neurologic manifestations associated with this disease. We describe two patients who developed neurologic complications from yersiniosis. One had brachial plexus neuropathy (neuralgic amyotrophy), and the other developed the clinical picture of myelitis. The possibility of yersiniosis behind neurologic manifestations related to infectious diseases of uncertain origin should be recognized.Keywords
