Abstract
A 36-year-old woman received a kidney homotransplanted from her brother on July 7, 1965. Five months later she became pregnant. She tolerated her pregnancy perfectly, and a healthy child was born by vaginal delivery 14 months after the kidney transplantation. This case illustrates the absence of teratogenic effects of the immunosuppressive drugs and suggests the possibility of an enhanced graft tolerance during pregnancy. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
