Abstract
α,ω-Diamino aliphatic ethers react under ambient conditions with dimethyl α,ω-dicarboxylates, in methanol as a solvent, to give the cyclic diamides in good yields, and their subsequent reduction with lithium aluminium hydride affords the respective diazacoronands.Keywords
