Abstract
This paper reports on message transmissions and receptions over an experimental VHF meteor burst communication link that employs a buried antenna at one end. The 416-mile link was operated in a cooperative experiment between the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the GTE Government Systems Corporation (GTE-GSC). Some initial results are presented. Keywords
