Abstract
A method was established for the quantitative determination of glycyrrhizin in Glycyrrhiza radix by high-speed liquid chromatography. Glycyrrhizin is separated in approximately 13 min using a 1 m Permaphase AAX column with a mobile phase of 30% isopropanol in phosphate buffer (pH 5.2) at 50.degree.. Comparison of this method with the 3 currently used methods (TLC, diethylaminoethyl-cellulose and GLC methods) indicated that this method was significantly better than the other with respect to simplicity, analytical time and accuracy. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
