Abstract
The magnetodynamic equation in the Landau‐Lifshitz form has been formulated for distributed ferromagnetic‐film systems, such as films with laminar magnetization or domain walls. Initial and boundary conditions are examined. The formulation lends itself easily to the numerical solution of both quasistatic‐ and dynamic‐magnetization reversal problems, as illustrated by several examples. A number of applications for the formulation are also indicated. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
