Abstract
The diffuse reflectance spectra of terbium oxides (TbOx) have been studied in the composition range 1.5≤x≤1.75 from 300 to 1500 mμ. An ultraviolet cutoff was observed at about 325 mμ. A general decrease in reflectance was observed for an increase in the oxygen to metal ratio. A band was also noted in the 380 to 400‐mμ region. Keywords
