Abstract
Fetal response is measured from the reaction shown in the FHR pattern. This response can be predictive of fetal health. Testing the response can be started usefully after 30 weeks of amenorrhea. Repeat testing every 3 weeks may be helpful. In high risk cases and those with medical complications testing once or twice a week may be required. There is a need for adoption of an international scoring system of the fetal response, based on percentages. Such a system is presented consisting of 10 parameters. Keywords
