Causes of death in colonial doctors.

Abstract
The causes of death in 910 New Zealand doctors, 1840-1910, are given . Natural causes were the most frequent reason for death with pulmonary tuberculosis being important. Other leading causes of death were accident or violence, alcoholism, drug taking and suicide.
