Abstract
.beta.-Sitosterol, epilupeol, amarolide-11-acetate, amarolide-2,11-diacetate, ailanthinone and glaucarubinone were isolated from S. versicolor. The cytotoxic and antileukemic activities of extracts of this plant in KB human oral carcinoma cells and mouse P388 lymphocytic leukemia are due chiefly to glaucarubinone. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
