Abstract
This article on the hepatitis B virus (HBV) in Saudi Arabia reviews 24 articles on HBV which have been published in national and international journals. The data of 49,312 Saudi individuals have been analyzed. Some conclusions have been drawn about the prevalence of HBsAg and HBeAg, overall exposure of the population, and control of HBV infection.
