Abstract
The Sb–Sn system has been assessed in terms of thermodynamic models for the individual phases. Expressions for the Gibbs energy as a function of temperature and composition are obtained and both phase diagram and thermochemical data are calculated and found to be in good agreement with the experimental data. The compound phase SbSn is treated by means of a Bragg–Williams–Gorsky approach. MST/421Keywords
