Abstract
PbO-TiO2 is obtained by a Sol-Gel Process from raw inorganic materials. The control of the gelation conditions provides a “glassy'’ gel. This texture is appropriate to the fragmentation and separation of green particles of different sizes. The synthesis and sintering (densification) of the particles is made without a previous molding and in a unique firing operation. These ceramic particles can be applied to the design and development of composite materials. Keywords
