Abstract
Physicians are among the few members of the “Establishment” whose opinions seem to matter to young drug users. This is reason enough for every physician to become involved. To discharge his obligation in this regard, the physician must be knowledgeable about the drug scene and avoid moralizing. An 11 point proposal is offered as a guide to containment and reversal of what has become a crucial health problem. Keywords
