Abstract
Narrow-leaved hawk''s-beard (C. tectorum L.) occurs across most of Canada but is particularly abundant in the parkland zone of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. It is a serious weed in forage crop fields and has been increasing rapidly in many areas.
