Abstract
The sagittal dimensions of certain soft tissue structures of the neck were measured in a sample of 150 normal adult subjects. The structures included the posterior wall and roof of the nasopharynx, the post-pharyngeal and post-tracheal spaces, and the trachea. The techniques of radiography and measurement were presented, and the main sources of error and application of normal values derived were discussed. Keywords
