Abstract
Sealing techniques are described for joining windows of lithium fluoride, magnesium oxide, and quartz to Pyrex glass, FN glass, quartz, and silver. These seals withstand repeated bakeouts at 300–350°C and can be used in ultrahigh vacuum systems.Keywords
