Abstract
A simple geometric interpretation for the transport induced by parametric pumping is given. Two separation problems are discussed i.e., enrichment and splitting. In the case of enrichment, the steady counterpart of parametric pumping is a dual temperature process and in the case of splitting this counterpart is conventional extraction. Advantages and disadvantages of parametric pumping as compared to its steady state counterparts are discussed. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
