Abstract
Eighteen white rats were kept on a diet containing 76% casein for periods of 2-17 mo. after the removal of 1 kidney. Four showed severe lesions of the remaining kidney, 8 some slight lesions, and 6 very little if any renal change. Individual susceptibility and age seem to be the factors in determining the degree of damage. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
