Abstract
Cyclamen persicum callus cultures have been established on a defined medium. The tissue requires an auxin and a cytokinin. Adenine, while not required, greatly stimulates growth. The callus grows more vigorously in the dark than in light. After more than 6 years of subculture, the callus retains the capacity to form roots and shoots. Keywords
