Abstract
"Six experiments were reported in which eating was observed after manipulation of the tonicity of body fluids by intragastric or intraperitoneal injections. The results indicated that hypertonic fluids decreased subsequent eating, whereas hypotonic fluids, introduced intragastrically by stomach tube, increased eating." From Psyc Abstracts 36:02:2EF89S.
