Abstract
The results presented will be oriented toward the characteristics of single layer perpendicular recording rigid disk media made in a production environment. The desired physical and magnetic parameters for perpendicular media are considerably different from those for longitudinal media. The impact of these differences on production techniques will be discussed. Data relating the physical, magnetic, and recording characteristics will be presented. This publication has 20 references indexed in Scilit:
