A Comparison of Methods for Predicting Gaseous Diffusion Coefficients

Abstract
Nine methods for the estimation of gaseous diffusion coefficients in gas chromatography are reviewed. In order to demonstrate the relative reliability of the various methods a comparison has been made using experimental data from recent sources. Recommendations are given to assist in making the most suitable choice of methods to be employed under a variety of circumstances.
