Abstract
A laminated root-rot of Douglas fir [Pseudotsuga taxifolia (Lamb.) Britt.] occurs in young stands on Vancouver Island, B.C. The decay, the sporophore associated with it, and the cultural characters of the fungus are described A comparison with Poria Weirii Murr., previously reported only on Thuja plicata (D Don.), shows a close resemblance in all respects between the two fungi. Keywords
