Abstract

Dialkyltin dimethoxides, R₂Sn(OMe)₂, react very readily with a wide variety of compounds R₂SnX₂(X = F, Cl, Br, I, CNS, O·CO·R, or O·SO₂·R) to give the disproportionation products of the composition R₂Sn(OMe)X. The properties of these compounds are described.
