Abstract
A questionnaire was sent to all relevant agencies in North Dakota requesting information on children who are of school age and speak less than 15 recognizable words (see Appendix). The response rate was 100%. The prevalence rate for nonspeaking children in North Dakota is 15.25 per 10,000. Other relevant information from the study is presented.Keywords
