Abstract
The various classifications of fats and fat-like substances are presented, with a discussion of the various lipid solvents. Methods of determining crude lipids are given in detail, especially the official method of the Association of Official Agricultural Chemists, the modified Koch method, and the Kuma-gawa-Suto method with its modification. Following this, there is a bibliography of nearly 100 references relating to lipides and their quantitative determination. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
