Abstract
Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) obtained by kieselguhr absorption is not inhibited by K-ferricyanide (10 [image]), o-iodosobenzoate (10-2), or monoiodacetate (10-2) up to 60 min. Mercaptide forming substances as p-chloromercuribenzoate, Naseleneit or Na tellurite are without any effect. Inhibition by Na arsenite or Mapharsen can be reversed by washing or dialysis, or prevented by higher substrate concentration. Inhibition by arsenite prevents inacti-vation by certain alkylphosphates. Keywords
