Abstract
The cross section for radiative capture of on , was measured at 27-MeV incident nitrogen energy, by separating chemically and identifying the radionuclide . The cross section was found to be 1 μb within the estimated error of about a factor of 2. This result is compared with the prediction of a statistical model and found to be in reasonable agreement with theory.
