Abstract
A modification of the controlled test is described. This is designed to assess the value of a drug against immature as well as against the adult stages of the gastrointestinal nematodes of sheep. The use of faecal egg-count data in the assessment of anthelmintic activity is compared with the critical and controlled tests and the comparative value of all three types of test is discussed. Keywords
