Abstract
The crystal structure of the title compound has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction from diffractometer data and refined to a final R of 5.3%. Crystals are monoclinic, space group P21/c[a= 8.053(2), b= 15.340(6), c= 7.323(2)Å, β= 94.81(2)°, Z= 2] and the structure consists of planar pyridinium ions and trans-octahedral [SnMe2Cl4]2– anions [Sn–C 2.109(9), Sn–Cl 2.625(2), and 2.603(2)Å].Keywords
