Abstract
Some rigorous aspects in early stage evolution of a quenched binary mixture are investigated using an exchange-type kinetic Ising model. Quenched from a sufficiently high temperature, a transient oscillation is found in the spatial correlation function. A broad peak of the structure factor appears at a finite wave-vector, which is independent of the quenching depth. The peak can be shown to shift to the smaller wave-vector region for the case of one-dimensional system. These aspects are visualized actually by approximate numerical computations for one-dimensional system. Keywords
