Abstract
Neonatal meningitis is not a common dis ease, but mortality rates remain high despite the introduction of antibiotics. Mortality and morbidity rates are shown here to be re lated more to the time between onset of symptoms and institution of therapy than to the type of antibiotic therapy employed.Keywords
