Abstract
Variously N-protected α-aminoaldehydes exhibit reasonable diastereoselectivity in the Baylis-Hillman coupling1 with methyl acrylate to provide either primarily syn or anti α-methylene-β-hydroxy-γ-amino esters.Keywords
