BILATERAL PSEUDOTUMORS OF THE PELVIS IN A PATIENT WITH CHRISTMAS DISEASE

Abstract
A 25 year old patient with severe Factor IX deficiency was found to have bilateral pseudotumors arising from his pelvis. Localization of these tumors and assessment of response to therapy have been attempted by a combination of conventional radiology, radionuclide scanning and ultrasonography. An attempt has also been made to compare the characteristic ultrasonographic appearances of hemophilic pseudotumors with osteogenic sarcoma.
