Abstract
Solvent partitioning and column chromatography of MeOH root extracts of Jatropha dioica yielded four pure compounds, .beta.-sitosterol, jatropholone B, a previously unknown diterpene epoxytrione given the trivial name citlalitrione [1], and riolozatrione. Structures were determined using physical and spectral techniques and X-ray crystallography. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
