Abstract
Two ignimbrite horizons are recognised in a Caradoc marine sequence. The uppermost, the Pandy Ash forms a single mappable unit, but is shown to consist of at least three separate flows, including both welded and non‐welded tuffs. Locally lahars occur.Keywords
