Abstract
The present study replicated with oblique lines the finding of Rudel and Teuber (1963) that 4-yr.-old children had difficulty discriminating left-right directionality. It also demonstrated that, with changes in procedure and in stimuli, the number of children who were able to differentiate between oblique lines could be significantly increased. Furthermore, following pre-training with these facultative procedures, a significantly greater proportion of children could differentiate oblique lines under the conditions used by Rudel and Teuber. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
