Abstract
The intensities of x-rays reflected from powdered crystals of magnesium oxide and potassium chloride were measured photographically. It was found that this method made possible the measurement of somewhat higher orders of reflection from powdered crystals than have determined by the ionization method. The radial electron distribution for each of the atoms was determined and the results indicate that both compounds form polar crystals. Keywords
