Abstract
A case of true hermaphrodism in an apparently normal female monkey has been described. Macroscopically, the reproductive organs of this animal were female, and female sex chromatin was observed in motor neurons of the cervical spinal cord. Histologically, both gonads were characterized by a central testicular portion that was surrounded by a rim of ovarian tissue. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
