Abstract
Although eczema and other allergic conditions are commonly classified among the psychosomatic disorders, usually with the implication that a disturbance of the relationship between mother and child may be a primary root of clinical difficulty, much uncertainty surrounds the question as to relative importance of constitutional, immunologic and emotional factors in maintaining the activity of eczema in infants and older children. Keywords
