Abstract
IT is becoming increasingly clear that the pulmonary involvement in cystic fibrosis of the pancreas is by far the most important and serious manifestation of this disease. Farber and Wolbach1 recognized the generalized nature of this disease, and in 1945 Farber2 suggested the name "mucoviscidosis" to indicate the widespread involvement of mucus-secreting cells. More recently di Sant'Agnese et al.3 demonstrated a defect in the function of the sweat glands . . .Keywords
